Great to meet you!

Before completing my master’s degree, I spent several years working as an Intensive In-Home Psychotherapist, where I had the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families in their everyday environments. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the complexities of family dynamics and reinforced how important communication, collaboration, and support are in creating meaningful change.

After becoming a licensed outpatient psychotherapist, my work expanded to supporting children, adolescents, and adults (ages 5–73). I help clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality-related concerns. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward growth at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and understood, so building a trusting relationship is always my first priority. I strive to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.

I draw from evidence-based practices while remaining flexible, knowing that no two people are the same. Together, we’ll work to understand patterns that may be causing distress, build practical coping skills, and gently explore deeper experiences when you feel ready. I also place strong value on empowerment—helping you reconnect with your strengths, clarify your needs, and develop tools that support lasting growth.

Above all, therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll take things one step at a time, working together toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and any concerns or questions you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this session moves at your pace.

I’ll also gather some background information to better understand your experiences, while making sure you feel safe and respected throughout the process. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss how we might work toward them. You can expect a calm, non-judgmental space where your thoughts and feelings are welcomed.

By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of what therapy will look like moving forward and a plan for next steps. Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable returning.
