Great to meet you!

My name is Nicole and I am a nurse practitioner with dual board certifications, one is in mental health and the other in family practice. I have worked in health care since 2017 and have worked in multiple specialties over the years from the Neuro/STROKE unit to the Pediatric Emergency Department. However, my passion landed with midlife woman. The menopause transition is a time a chaos leading to new anxiety and depression, changes mood, insomnia, cognitive changes and struggles with relationships (friends, family and intimate partners). My goal is to help you feel more like yourself during this transition and beyond.

My approach to therapy

I like to treat patients using shared decision making. Patient’s have a stake in their care and when there is more than one option for treatment I believe the patient should be part of the decision making. When patients are given adequate education regarding treatment options they are better able to participate in their own care.

What you can expect from me

For our first appointment I like to get a thorough background assessment with a medical and social history. Most patients find they struggle with more than one issue or symptom. I like to find out what symptom or issue is causing the most distress and address that one first.
