Great to meet you!

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." – Maya Angelou

I believe that every person has a story worth telling. Sometimes life's challenges leave us searching for hope, stability, and a way forward. Whether you're navigating anxiety, a difficult life transition, divorce, relationship challenges, addiction recovery, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can provide a safe space to process your experiences and begin writing a new chapter.

As a Licensed professional Counselor and former educator, I understand the importance of meeting people where they are. My ideal clients are young adults and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change. I also enjoy working with individuals experiencing major life transitions, stress, depression, self-esteem concerns, and those seeking faith-integrated counseling.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. My experience includes supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, addiction, and domestic violence. These experiences have reinforced my belief that healing is possible when people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and collaborative. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to identify obstacles, build healthy coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Reality Therapy while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian faith-integrated counseling, thoughtfully incorporating spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process while respecting each person's individual values and preferences.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will explore what has brought you to therapy, therapeutic goals, and ways I can be of support to you.

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. If you're ready to regain control, find clarity, and move toward healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
