Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Nicole Williams! Something in your relationship or sex life isn’t working, and you’re tired of going in circles. Maybe communication keeps breaking down. Maybe desire feels mismatched, or intimacy has shifted in ways you don’t fully understand. Maybe you’re navigating non-monogamy, kink, or exploring parts of yourself that don’t fit into traditional boxes and you want a therapist who actually gets it. I work with individuals and couples who want more clarity, connection, and ease in their relationships and sex lives. That might mean rebuilding trust, improving communication, working through shame, or figuring out what you truly want and how to ask.

I’m kink, BDSM, and ENM-affirming, and I create a space where you don’t have to educate your therapist or filter yourself. At the same time, you don’t have to have it all figured out to start, curiosity is enough.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Centered Soul Counseling, where I provide 100% telehealth therapy for individuals and couples throughout California. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach, and hold specialized training in sex therapy through an AASECT-approved certification program.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is calm, collaborative, and deeply human. I believe that healing happens through understanding, curiosity, and genuine connection. In our work together, I create a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore your emotions, desires, and patterns without fear of shame or judgment.

I draw from relational, trauma-informed, and sex-positive frameworks, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and pace. Whether we’re working through communication challenges, exploring ethical non-monogamy (ENM) or kink, or addressing anxiety and intimacy concerns, I’ll help you build awareness, confidence, and trust.

My style is warm, grounded, and direct when needed. I see therapy as a place for both reflection and practical change, where insight and action come together to support lasting growth and authentic connection.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you can exhale. A space that feels calm, safe, and judgment-free. You don’t have to have it all figured out; we’ll slow down, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any other concerns or goals you have. This time is about getting to know you, understanding your story and what you need right now.

Clients often say that after our first session, they finally feel seen and understood. You can expect honesty, compassion, and real conversation. Together, we'll start identifying patterns, exploring what's working or not working in your relationships, and setting intentions for our work moving forward. My goal is for you to leave that first session with a sense of clarity, safety, and the feeling that therapy can truly support your growth and improve your life.
