Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT and LPCC) with a background in community mental health. I engage my clients in a warm, compassionate, philosophical, and non-judgmental way. Using a collaborative approach and evidence-based modalities to address a range of mental health issues, I help clients reach their therapeutic goals and achieve a greater sense of wholeness, personal agency, and lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

As your therapist, I am dedicated and passionate about supporting you in achieving your objectives and improving your overall well-being. In addition to implementing scientifically-backed treatment methods, I offer clients a reflective environment where they can deepen their understanding of themselves, others, and the human experience. You can expect to feel safe, supported, and encouraged on your journey. You can also expect lots of creativity, bibliotherapy (reading) suggestions, and humor!

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will begin by exploring who you are and what brings you to therapy. I will get to know you as we discuss your current symptoms, stressors, and relevant past experiences. We will talk about what you would like to work on during our time together and collaborate on a plan that meets your needs. I may also provide psycho-education that includes relevant knowledge about your condition and the treatment process, as well as coping skills and/or immediate actionable steps to help you gain relief from your symptoms.
