Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy isn’t always easy, and I believe finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with experience supporting veterans, older adults, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and everyday stress. I know life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don’t have to carry that weight alone.

I value authenticity, compassion, and building genuine connections with my clients. Whether you’re working through a difficult season or hoping to better understand yourself, we’ll work together to help you move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not an interrogation. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all approach, so we’ll work together to find strategies that fit your life.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), strengths-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, build healthy coping skills, and create realistic goals that support lasting change.

I also believe healing doesn’t happen through judgment—it happens through feeling seen, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your story, but there’s no expectation to share everything right away.

We’ll also discuss your strengths, identify areas you’d like to focus on, and begin creating goals that feel meaningful to you. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how therapy can help.
