Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a mental health provider was shaped by early life experiences that inspired a deep interest in understanding emotional health and resilience. I pursued psychology studies from high school through college and ultimately earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Having witnessed the limitations of reactive care over 7 years in inpatient psychiatry, I shifted toward trauma-informed, preventative treatment in integrated and women's health settings. My goal is to help individuals build emotional stability and nurturing environments that support both personal healing and future generations.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with person-centered and solutions-focused therapies to help you shift your perspective of your circumstances, better understand yourself, and take practical steps toward the life you want to lead. My communication style is warm, supportive, and honest. I aim to meet you where you are, listen deeply, and offer insights and strategies that are both practical and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your concerns, and what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your current challenges, relevant history, and your goals for therapy. You will have space to ask questions about the therapy process, and I may introduce initial strategies from CBT, behavioral activation, or solution-focused approaches as appropriate. Above all, our first session is about building trust and safety so you can leave feeling informed, supported, and confident in taking this first step toward healing.
