Great to meet you!

I am a Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. My work focuses on supporting individuals and families navigating complex family dynamics, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, and parenting concerns.

I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic rapport at the beginning of the counseling process is essential. A safe, respectful, and trusting environment allows clients to openly explore their experiences and begin the process of meaningful change.

My clinical experience includes working with Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) clients, where I supported families facing high levels of stress, trauma, and relational conflict. Through this work, I developed a deep appreciation for the resilience individuals and families carry, even in the midst of significant challenges.

My therapeutic approach integrates understanding, personal growth, and thoughtful psychotherapeutic confrontation to help clients navigate difficult yet transformative moments in their lives. I also intentionally use silence within sessions as a therapeutic tool, allowing space for reflection, deeper awareness, and personal revelation.

My goal is to guide clients as they develop insight, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater emotional balance and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My work with clients is grounded in the belief that a strong therapeutic rapport is essential to the counseling process. I strive to create a respectful, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals and families feel safe exploring their experiences and challenges. My style is thoughtful, reflective, and collaborative, allowing clients the time and space to process their thoughts and emotions at a meaningful pace.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a relaxed and welcoming environment where we begin getting to know one another. This time is primarily focused on information gathering, allowing me to understand your experiences, concerns, and what has brought you to therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from the counseling process.

I will introduce some of the therapeutic methods and modalities that may be used throughout our work together, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Depending on your goals, I may also incorporate creativity and occasional reflective homework to support growth between sessions. The first session sets the foundation for a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.
