I have worked in the mental health field since 2018 first graduating from Cal State Hayward with a Bachelors in Psychology and then going on to get my Masters in Counseling from John F. Kennedy University. I became Licensed as a Psychotherapist in 2022. I work with adults and teens through a relational lens by taking the time to build the therapeutic relationship while gaining an understanding of my clients needs through warmth, care, and of course humor at times.
Through my work with clients I utilize an Integrative approach pulling from Person-Center, Humanistic, Experiential, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR to facilitate overall healing and growth.
Life can be challenging and even unfair at times, as life continues to move forward we may be activated or stuck as things from the past, future and present resurface in a way that feels unmanageable on your own. I work with clients to walk along that path with them as we explore what has brought them to therapy and together create meaning, process challenging events from the past, create insight, create new ways of coping, overall self growth, and positive change for the present and future.
