Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. I want our sessions to be a space where you can be yourself and feel comfortable without worrying about judgment or needing to have everything figured out.

I work with children, teens and young adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, life transitions, depression, relationship challenges and executive functioning difficulties. I have experience working in both K–12 school and university counseling settings, which has given me a deeper understanding of the unique challenges and pressures students can experience as they navigate different stages of life and grow into who they are. I also enjoy supporting young adults beyond the school setting as they navigate adulthood and the process of figuring out what comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, flexible and centered around you. I believe that therapy should feel like a space that meets you where you are at, while also helping you move toward the changes that matter to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, personality, goals and what feels most helpful for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you to therapy and exploring what you’d like support with. We’ll begin identifying what feels most important to focus on so that we can create a path forward together. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood and with a clearer sense of what therapy with me can look like.
