Great to meet you!

Hi there!

I've always been able to see experiences through an eclectic and holistic lens- one of the many reasons Psychology felt like a calling! I'm a mom, an avid reader, and love to lift heavy, spend time with my friends and family and am also always looking for new ways to channel my creative side!

I graduated with a focus in BIPOC Mental Health and Trauma work from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Identity and racial/ social justice work has been incredibly personal and important to me- which is why I've dedicated a lot of my professional time working with people of color as well. I can't wait to get to know you and will feel honored if I am a part of your healing and growing journey.

My approach to therapy

I am continuously learning different scientific based therapeutic approaches that can help me aid in treating my clients. For now, my style is leaning more towards eclectic therapy. I enjoy combining various tools and forms of treatment when working with clients who bring varying presenting issues. My current approaches include a combination of CBT, Internal Family Systems, Scientific based- Holistic treatments via Therapy through Art, Internal Family systems, Multicultural Theory, and CREAR-CE (BIPOC- centered and representing the needs of folks with a focus on culture, identity and race.)

What you can expect from me

I accomplish goals and reduction of symptoms through a combination of tools from different forms of treatment. I prefer to use an integrative, scientific- based holistic and eclectic form of therapy in collaboration with clients and what they are needing from me as their therapist. Through a more humanistic approach, I find that collaboration with the client is key in order to build trusted rapport and develop treatment plans with steps to achieve short term and long term goals.
