Great to meet you!

I believe the best psychiatric care starts with getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your overall health, relationships, experiences, and the things that matter most in your life. As a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in general adult psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and perinatal mental health, I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to treatment that is tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions so we can work together to develop a treatment plan that helps you feel your best.

I currently serve as President-Elect of Nassau Suffolk District Branch of American Psychiatric Association, where I remain actively involved in promoting collaborative care, education, and innovation within the psychiatric community.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I believe it’s important to understand the full picture of what you're going through, including the emotional, medical, relational, and environmental factors that may be impacting your mental health. I'll work closely with you to create a treatment plan that feels thoughtful, personalized, and aligned with your goals.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, you can expect a warm, attentive, and collaborative experience. I take the time to listen carefully, understand your concerns, and provide clear, thoughtful guidance throughout treatment. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you will feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, and working together toward meaningful and lasting improvement.
