Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in general adult psychiatry, and perinatal mental health. My approach to treatment is thoughtful, collaborative, and centered around understanding each person within the context of their overall health, relationships, and life experiences. I believe psychiatric care works best when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the treatment process.

In addition to my clinical work, I’ve held leadership roles in both academic and virtual psychiatry settings, with a focus on improving access to high quality, patient-centered care. I currently serve as President-Elect of Nassau Suffolk District Branch of American Psychiatric Association, where I remain actively involved in promoting collaborative care, education, and innovation within the psychiatric community.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I believe it’s important to understand the full picture of what someone is going through, including the emotional, medical, relational, and environmental factors that may be impacting their mental health. I work closely with patients to create a treatment plan that feels thoughtful, personalized, and aligned with their goals.

What you can expect from me

When working with me, patients can expect a warm, attentive, and collaborative experience. I take the time to listen closely, understand each person’s concerns, and provide clear, thoughtful guidance throughout treatment. My goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, and working together toward meaningful and lasting improvement.
