Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 20 years of experience providing therapeutic support to diverse populations across a range of practice settings. As an Afro-Caribbean therapist, I bring a culturally responsive perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges of acculturation, systemic oppression, identity, and the unique experiences that impact women, especially Caribbean women, and marginalized communities.

My practice is grounded in an eclectic, client-centered approach that is tailored to each individual’s strengths, needs, and goals. Drawing from a range of evidence-based interventions, I partner with clients to develop practical strategies that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative partnership, and that through mutual trust, commitment, and shared effort, we can accomplish far more than we initially imagine possible.

My mission is to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, strengthen their sense of self, and create lasting, positive change.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize active listening and offer a nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the therapeutic process. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy and begin wherever you feel most ready. I provide a supportive, empathetic, and compassionate environment that fosters comfort and trust as the foundation for our work together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a therapeutic space grounded in active listening, acceptance, and validation.

I work with clients across all ages, races, and cultural backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents and women of Caribbean ancestry. I value the insight and potential young people bring, and I am equally committed to learning from and supporting their experiences. I also honor the lived experiences and narratives of Caribbean women, whose voices are too often marginalized or silenced.
