Great to meet you!

Nikah prioritizes creating safe spaces so that individuals can be authentic without judgement. Within these spaces, her goal is to further explore the garden that is her clients, empowering them to identify and uproot that which hinders growth. As we develop the courage to explore the darkness, we then discover the infinite power of our light. This process breeds change and growth. Some shy away from this because of the daunting fear attached to being vulnerable, misunderstood, or simply unseen.

Nikah utilizes Expressive Art Therapies to foster connection, inspire hope, and integrate holistic wellness into the lives of others. Additional tools used are Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.

Nikah earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She also obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Psychology at the University of South Florida.

My approach to therapy

Throughout her career, Nikah created programs which integrated art to address mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and identity. Nikah also worked as a school counselor, where she offered individual & group counseling for students struggling with grief/loss, trauma, ADHD, and self-harm. In addition to her therapy-specific roles, Nikah has worked with children and adults alike by providing psychoeducation and bringing mental health awareness to organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club.

Nikah maintains a healthy work-life balance. When not caring for her clients, she enjoys painting, dancing, music, and other art modalities. Another passion of hers is to travel the world while engaging in new adventures with her loved ones.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, judgment-free space where they feel seen and heard. Nikah integrates Expressive Art Therapy with evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness to foster self-exploration, growth, and healing. Her sessions encourage creativity, emotional resilience, and the courage to confront challenges. With experience in grief, trauma, and identity work, she provides holistic support that nurtures balance, self-care, and transformation. Clients will not only gain coping tools but also the empowerment to thrive.
