Great to meet you!

I’m passionate about helping my clients in a way that feels authentic and genuine. I truly believe that each person is the expert on their own life journey, and therapy can be a source of support or guidance along that journey. My previous experience includes 5 years of working in group practice and community agency settings. I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling from George Mason University, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.

I currently have daytime (10am-2pm) openings for in-person or telehealth appointments.

My approach to therapy

I appreciate working with clients who have wanted to process trauma (including domestic violence and family trauma), life transitions, anxiety, and interpersonal relationships. My hope is to empower you to find trust in yourself to cope with whatever comes your way. I integrate a culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens to my work. My training includes using expressive arts, parts work/IFS, and trauma-informed interventions in addition to traditional person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches.

What you can expect from me

First therapy sessions can be nerve wracking! In our first meeting, we'll get to know each other, and we can explore the "Why now?" of what brings you to therapy. Over time, we'll get to build trust and comfort to figure out how therapy can best support you.

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you'd like to schedule an intake or discuss availability!
