Great to meet you!

You may be the person everyone thinks has it together while privately feeling anxious, drained, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’re navigating cultural or family expectations, questioning where you fit, struggling to feel fully accepted in your identity or sexuality, or noticing that past experiences are affecting your relationships today. I work with teens and adults who are tired of overthinking, shrinking themselves for others, or carrying emotions they rarely talk about. My goal is to give you a space where you can show up as yourself while building the confidence to do the same outside of therapy.

My approach to therapy

We’ll focus on the situations making life difficult right now and identify realistic changes that can help you feel more in control. That might mean quieting the thoughts that tell you you’re not good enough, setting boundaries without feeling guilty, managing stress before you shut down, or changing relationship patterns that leave you feeling unheard or emotionally exhausted. We’ll also recognize how your culture, identity, relationships, and past experiences may shape the way you see yourself and respond to others. Rather than focusing only on what feels wrong, we’ll build on what’s already strong in you and turn that into meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong or have the perfect words to explain how you feel. We’ll start with what life has been like lately, whether that’s constant overthinking, feeling depressed or emotionally exhausted, relationship stress, family pressure, or feeling like you can’t fully be yourself around the people in your life. You’ll have space to talk about your identity, sexuality, culture, relationships, or past experiences without feeling pressured to explain or defend who you are. By the end, we’ll have a clearer picture of what you want to change and where it makes the most sense to begin.
