Great to meet you!

Hey there! My name is Nikki :) a little about me is that I view my clients holistically and from a systems lens. I enjoy learning about my clients within the context of their childhoods, environment, and the culmination of their life experiences. I am very familiar with grief and find fulfillment in helping clients process major life changes and transitions. If clients are open, I incorporate spiritual understanding and meaning-making. As an LMFT, I love to assist clients in improving communication with others, especially loved ones, or to assist in boundary-setting strategies. A huge focus of mine is client empowerment and self-love, which extends to how one navigates the world!

My approach to therapy

What is known about me is my warmth! My clients are always met with warmth, validation, and non-judgement. My approach with clients stems from curiosity and a desire for client healing overall. I naturally use humor and can always sense and attune to my clients’ needs every session. The client/therapist relationship and building trust is the most important aspect to successful therapy, and I make sure that is always strongly established.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to feel more comfortable than anticipated, hear lots of curious questions from myself so I can get to know my clients, and for session to have a laid-back, nurturing, and energetic feel. Rapport building is essential and of major significance to my approach, so our first session kicks off the start of our therapeutic relationship :)
