Hey all! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping my clients gain a deeper love and understanding of self at a foundational level. I enjoy assisting my clients in cultivating a better awareness of triggers that often appear in their lives, as well as in prompting client exploration regarding narratives that have been carried for too long. My main goal is to facilitate overall client healing and empowerment!
I am warm and nurturing, but I will definitely challenge your thinking! I let my genuine curiosity and desire help lead in my questioning and in rapport building. I use humor and I am authentically myself :) I am EMDR trained and believe in the mind/body connection. I am neurodivergent (ADHD), and can easily lead in session, as well as allow time for my clients to think and process. My specialties are grief, life transitions, spirituality, relational and family work, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD/ASD, LGBTQIA+, women's issues, depression, and anxiety.
You can expect to feel comfortable right away! I promise - it's my thing. I ask you a bunch of questions due to our first session being the intake, and you will see that I take genuine interest in your struggles and in your life. I am warm, and my natural baseline is in turning to dark humor - you can expect to laugh with me. Of course, we get serious when it counts. I basically become a fast support person in your life and I am always there for my clients.
