Great to meet you!

Hey y’all, are you ready to break free from stress, anxiety, or self-doubt and create a life aligned with your true potential? I’m Nikki Layne, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky with over 10 years of experience guiding individuals through life’s toughest challenges. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, self-identity struggles, addiction, or LGBTQI+ issues, I’m here to help you break free from what’s holding you back and create the life you deserve. Choosing me as your counselor means stepping into a space where you are truly heard and supported.

My approach to therapy

I’m dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. My own struggles with self-identity, anxiety, and depression in a resource-limited rural community in Eastern Kentucky have deeply shaped my path toward becoming a counselor. I know what it’s like to feel isolated, unsure of who to talk to, and unsure of who you truly are.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m especially committed to supporting my peers and providing essential resources for navigating life’s challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, self-identity, or just need someone to talk to, I'm here to walk with you every step of the way. Reach out if you’re ready to take the first step.

What you can expect from me

Choosing to work with me means entering a space where you’ll be genuinely heard, understood, and supported. During our first session, we’ll take a little extra time to get comfortable and get to know each other. I’ll ask some background and health questions, explain how the counseling process works, and go over any necessary paperwork together.

This session is designed to help us understand your goals and what brought you to therapy, so we can begin building a plan that fits your needs. Future sessions tend to feel more relaxed, conversational, and goal oriented. We’ll focus on the areas you want to work on, explore patterns, and develop practical tools and strategies to help you grow.

My goal is to create an open, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share freely and feel supported every step of the way. Your healing journey matters deeply to me, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward growth and change.
