I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia who works with adults navigating anxiety, complex trauma, OCD, ADHD, and relationship stress. I have experience across outpatient, inpatient, and community mental health settings, which helps me bring a grounded and flexible approach to therapy. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are—without pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to help you feel more understood while also helping you make meaningful, practical changes in your daily life.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and practical. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely understood and supported while also being challenged to grow. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life, build insight into what's keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies that help you create lasting change. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), relational therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to meet your individual needs. This means we'll work on developing practical coping skills while also exploring the deeper patterns and relationships that influence your emotions, behaviors, and sense of self. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood, challenged, and empowered to make lasting changes.
The first session is about getting a clear picture of what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping will feel different. We’ll talk through your current concerns, relevant history, and begin identifying goals together. I’ll ask questions to help guide the process, but there’s no expectation that you have everything organized ahead of time. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a sense of direction for the work ahead.
