Great to meet you!

You don’t need to have the right words or everything figured out before reaching out. I’m Nima, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing, welcoming teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or changes in your life, I take time to understand what you’re experiencing and what feeling better would look like for you. My approach combines thoughtful medication management with attention to sleep, nutrition, daily habits, and the experiences that shape your mental health. I want our visits to feel like an honest conversation—one where you feel heard, can ask questions freely, and have a say in your care.

My approach to therapy

I bring curiosity, warmth, and a whole-person perspective to our work together. I want to understand both what’s been difficult and what helps you feel like yourself, including your strengths, relationships, and daily routines. My approach blends evidence-based psychiatric care with attention to sleep, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle, with medication when it supports your goals. We’ll talk openly about your options and create a plan that feels manageable, respects your preferences, and evolves with you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to tell your story, without pressure to know where to begin. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your mental and physical health history, and what you’d like to feel or do differently in your daily life. I aim to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can be honest about your concerns, including any hesitations about treatment. Together, we’ll identify your priorities and discuss next steps, so you leave with a clearer understanding of your options and a plan we can build on.
