Great to meet you!

When you walk into our sessions, I want you to know that you are stepping into a safe, completely judgment-free space where your story matters. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my goal isn't just to look at a list of symptoms or hand you a prescription; it is to understand the whole person behind them. I am here to partner with adults, teens, and families who are navigating the heavy waves of anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions.

My path to mental healthcare wasn't driven by a desire to memorize diagnoses, but by a deep passion for human connection. I weave my specialized medical and psychiatric training naturally into our conversations so that you receive evidence-based care that still feels entirely human, warm, and collaborative. We will work side-by-side to explore what thrives within you and figure out what tools—whether therapy, lifestyle changes, or medication—help you feel like yourself again. You don’t have to carry the weight alone, and I am honored to walk this path toward healing with you.

My approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my approach to providing care centers on delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate psychiatric services tailored to each individual's unique needs.

To guide our work, I integrate specific therapeutic methods that are proven to support long-term recovery and mental wellness. Throughout our time together, these methods are thoroughly explained in each session so you always understand the purpose behind your treatment plan and feel empowered in your choices.

Maintaining complete consistency with established therapeutic modalities is core to my practice; whether we are utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or supportive psychotherapy, every intervention aligns seamlessly with clinical guidelines. My framework is heavily backed by years of nursing experience, and this experience is actively assisted in how I approach diagnostic assessments, medication management, and holistic lifestyle interventions.

By balancing clinical expertise with a collaborative relationship, I ensure that patient receive safe, structured, and highly personalized psychiatric care.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a 45- to 90-minute medical evaluation focused on understanding your symptoms, health history, and goals. It is a collaborative, judgment-free conversation rather than an interrogation, aimed at building a personalized care or treatment plan.It is completely normal to feel anxious before your first visit, but remember that you are always in control of the session. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable discussing yet. The primary goal is to establish safety, build trust, and collaboratively determine the next steps—which may include therapy recommendations, lifestyle adjustments, or medication management.
