Great to meet you!

I love working with adults who are ready to dig deep and make healthy changes to live their best lives. Whether you are LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) or Empath, or label yourself as "outside the box" I am ready to help you see your beautiful strengths and empower you with the tools to help change unhealthy patterns in order to create your best life. Clients that have sought my services have reported that I was helpful in processing their trauma, identifying self-sabotaging behaviors, moving thru grief, re-inventing themselves post divorce or in simply learning how to live in the Now.

Nimuë Love is a seasoned LMHC, Expressive Arts Therapist, Movement Psychotherapist and Reiki Master Teacher. Modalities she uses include both traditional talk therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, MBSR, Solution Focused) as well as the Expressive Arts (art, movement, music, narrative, psychodrama) in a trauma informed and culturally supportive environment.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting clients where they are at, then as we develop therapeutic alliance incorporating techniques that may challenge your thinking, teach new coping skills, and process and externalize what no longer serves.

What you can expect from me

The first session is where I clinically assess your mental well being to see if you medically meet necessity for treatment. Thus the first session I ask you a lot of questions regarding your past and present circumstances. By the end of your first session, you will see if you qualify for therapy and create a treatment plan unique to you and your needs. Follow up sessions are where we begin establishing stronger therapeutic rapport, and dive into what is working, what isn't and what you would like to change, to begin living your best life!
