Great to meet you!

If you want it to be different, do something differently.

Hello, my name is Nina and I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist serving clients throughout Colorado and Texas via secure, virtual sessions. I also offer Walk/Talk Therapy in and around Wylie, TX. With over 20 years of experience helping individuals across the lifespan through education, advocacy, and therapy roles, I am committed to supporting you on your journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings and work toward healing and growth. I believe that you are the authority in your own life and are on a unique journey shaped by your personal experiences. Each of us views the world through a lens formed by our past, and I honor that perspective. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, unconditional positive regard, and support as you navigate your path toward healing.

My approach to therapy

I see myself more as a guide than a prescriber of specific modalities. My approach is centered around highlighting your strengths and empowering you to take an active role in your healing process. Throughout our work together, I’ll introduce helpful interventions and strategies tailored to your needs, always respecting your voice and choice. My goal is to support you in discovering effective ways to navigate challenges and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I draw from trauma-informed and person-centered practices. I use both structured approaches which provide clear steps to process trauma and difficult memories, and more unstructured methods such as somatic work, mindfulness, or intuitive exploration, which allow us to tune into your body and inner experience. Sometimes, healing requires a focused, step-by-step process; other times, it’s more fluid and spontaneous. I tailor our work to what feels right for you, creating a safe space for growth and transformation.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, open, and collaborative space where we’ll start by getting to know each other and understanding what brought you in. We’ll explore what’s been challenging for you, discuss your goals, and begin to identify the strengths you already have to support your growth. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions, and create a plan tailored to your needs. The first session is about establishing trust, setting intentions, and laying the groundwork for a journey of healing and self-discovery.

Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit. Remember, you don’t have to face this alone—if you’re looking for genuine connection and a safe space to explore and rebuild, I’d be honored to walk with you.
