Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders, Identity Issues, and Relationship Issues

Great to meet you!

My therapeutic approach is direct and compassionate. Patients often tell me that I "keep it real". I am sex positive, LGBTQ friendly and work with people of all genders and relationship expressions including non monogamous partnerships.

My specialities include couples counseling, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I incorporate insight-based therapy with education around boundary setting, self care, communication and attachment styles.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My clients say they feel empowered from our therapy sessions - - more knowledgable and better able to make the changes they wish to see in their lives. I am interactive, collaborative and use my decade of experience to bring new perspectives to entrenched thinking and practical approaches to persistent problems. I have expertise in eating disorders, addictions, trauma and couples issues.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients learn more about their thoughts, feelings, fears and desires, and how to honor their authentic experience through communication, boundary setting and self care. Clients can expect to see positive changes in themselves and their lives. The people who work with me report feeling better overall, better relationships and sustained, successful sobriety.
