Great to meet you!

My experience includes 15+ years treating anxiety/stress, depression, trauma and substance use disorders (both abstinence and harm reduction/moderation). I also specialize in sex and relationships issues with singles and couples, including within non-traditional relationship structures such as non-monogamy. I work from a strength-based, egalitarian perspective, using a social justice, anti-oppression lens. My style is non-shaming, empowering and warm.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I’d like to offer you a non-judgmental space to explore behaviors, beliefs and feelings that keep you from living the life you want to live. You are not broken and I would be honored to help you reconnect to the innate wisdom and power of your authentic self. We'll connect not just to your thoughts but also your body in a way that is gentle and works for you.

What you can expect from our first session

I can offer concrete tools for identifying and managing your emotions, defining and expressing your needs to others or help you dig deep to process trauma and move forward in your life, if that is what you're looking for. We'll create a plan that suits you and can adjust as needed.
