Nina Knight

I'm Nina Knight — an LCSW, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), EMDR-trained clinician, retired law enforcement officer, and U.S. military veteran. What makes my practice different is that I don't just study the experiences my clients bring through the door — I've lived many of them. I understand the weight of wearing a uniform. I understand trauma that doesn't show up on an X-ray. I understand what it means to hold yourself together for everyone else until you simply can't anymore.My practice, Living & Looking Within, serves individuals, couples, children, and families across New Jersey — in person in Woodbridge or via telehealth statewide. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular passion for first responders, veterans, BIPOC communities, and anyone navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of doing a job most people could never do. I accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Horizon BCBS, Lyra, Optum, and UHC.

When working with me, we get straight to the issues at hand, homework is required to help you through the process and you get what you put into the sessions. We work together through the entire process.
