Great to meet you!

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to invest in yourself. Prioritizing your mental and emotional well-being is a powerful and courageous first step—whether it’s your first time seeking support or you’ve been on this journey for a while. I’m proud of you for being here. My name is Ninoska “Nina” Lewis, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. My clinical experience includes working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds on a wide range of concerns.

I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including childhood and adult sexual abuse, as well as those navigating challenges such as ADHD, depression, procrastination, lack of motivation, anger, emotional dysregulation, and feeling “stuck.” I also provide culturally informed therapy and support for couples and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, grounded in the biopsychosocial-spiritual model. This means I consider your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual experiences as we work collaboratively toward your goals. Whether you are seeking healing, clarity, growth, or support, I am here to walk alongside you!

What you can expect from me

First sessions can feel a bit daunting, but our initial time together is simply about getting to know each other. Here is what you can expect when we meet:

  • A Comfortable Space: No judgment and no pressure—just a safe, welcoming environment where you can truly be yourself.
  • Human Connection: We will focus on building a genuine partnership where you feel completely seen, heard, and respected.
  • Your Story, Your Pace: We will chat about what brings you to therapy and look at how your physical, emotional, and social worlds connect.
  • Teamwork: We will collaborate on where you want to go from here, setting a roadmap for your growth at a pace that feels right for you.
