Great to meet you!

I help adults break free from the weight of trauma and rebuild a sense of strength, clarity, and control. My background includes working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and university settings, where I supported people facing trauma, crisis, and complex emotional struggles. I’ve run trauma processing groups for sexual assault survivors, provided therapy in a hospital program for teens and adults, and completed psychological evaluations for adults and older adults. These experiences shaped my calm, steady, trauma-informed approach and the way I show up for adults who are ready to heal.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused interventions. I work collaboratively with each person to build effective coping skills, understand patterns that are no longer serving them, and move toward healing and stability at a pace that feels right. When working with veterans, I am sensitive to the unique challenges related to service, reintegration, moral injury, and chronic stress.

Clients often describe my style as warm, steady, and non-judgmental. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—one that honors your story, builds on your strengths, and helps you reconnect with a sense of control, meaning, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During the intake session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to accomplish in therapy, at whatever pace feels comfortable. I’ll ask some grounding questions to understand your history and current needs, and we’ll start setting goals together. My approach is calm, steady, and trauma-informed, so you’ll never be pushed to share more than you want to.

By the end of our time, you’ll have a clearer sense of what working together will look like and the next steps toward healing.
