Great to meet you!

Thank you for being here!

I've had the privilege to serve as a mental health counselor for many years, in both inner-city public schools and group practices.

During my time as a graduate student at Northwestern University, I specialized in child and adolescent trauma. I am currently enrolled in the National Institute for Psychotherapies Integrative Trauma Program, with an aim to provide my current and future clients with the best attuned care possible.

My approach to therapy

As an eclectic therapist, I utilize the approaches that best suit the needs of my clients. I am a firm believer in life-long learning and borrowing best practices. While I am psychodynamically trained and often practice through a psychodynamic lens, my treatment and interventions lend themselves to a person-centered approach. It is my ethical responsibility to provide you with the care that best suits your needs.

What you can expect from me

The therapeutic process, while sometimes uncomfortable and challenging, as self-actualization and healing can be, is a treasured gift for all involved.

I believe in togetherness and the power of "we." Together, we will download, process, and heal.

Your therapeutic treatment plan and goals are determined by you, as your autonomy is my priority. It is my privilege to walk beside you, mirror your emotionality, and aid in your holistic process of care.
