Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in supporting parents and caregivers of children with special needs. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct when needed. I believe counseling should provide a space where you can feel understood while also gaining insight and practical tools that apply to your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and person-centered. I often describe therapy as a road trip: you hold the GPS. You determine where we are going, while I travel alongside you and help you notice the unexpected turns, patterns, and places where you may feel stuck. I use questions, psychoeducation, practical skills, and evidence-based approaches to help you understand not only what you are experiencing, but why it matters in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to learn about you beyond the concern that brought you to counseling. We will begin exploring what has been happening, what you would like to change, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You do not have to arrive knowing exactly where to begin. Together, we will start identifying the path toward greater clarity, balance, and a stronger connection with your authentic self.
