Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy after spending months—or even years—trying to hold everything together on their own. You may look like you're functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, grief, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than six years of experience, I provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your struggles, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences. No two people arrive in therapy with the same story, which is why I strive to create a space where you feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without fear of judgment.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use concerns, grief, or major life transitions, we'll focus on practical strategies that build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and support lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially if this is your first experience with counseling. During our first session, we'll take time to discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope will be different moving forward. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, honesty, and practical support. We'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping skills, and develop realistic goals that align with the life you want to build. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel empowered, understood, and more confident in your ability to move forward.
