Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Niroshika De Silva, PsyD, a licensed psychologist providing virtual therapy across California, including South San Francisco, Daly City, Rancho Cucamonga, Murrieta, Tracy, Elk Grove, Los Angeles, Glendale, San Diego, and surrounding areas. I work with adults navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, and chronic overwhelm—especially when it shows up as difficulty focusing, following through, or keeping up with daily life.

Many of my clients feel stuck or scattered despite trying hard— especially parents trying to manage their own ADHD while supporting their child, and are looking for practical, supportive therapy that helps things actually change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and neuroaffirming — focused on helping you feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment or pressure to mask.

Since 2016, I’ve worked in schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, and held leadership roles at Lifestance Health and One Medical, where I helped expand access to coordinated mental health care. Now in private practice, I’m passionate about making therapy accessible and affirming for neurodivergent individuals and families who have felt overlooked or misunderstood.

My approach to therapy

I provide collaborative, neuroaffirming therapy for adults, parents, teens, and children navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, and sensory processing differences. Many adults I work with are parents managing ADHD overwhelm, burnout, and emotional regulation struggles while balancing work and family.

Whether you’re experiencing ADHD task paralysis, sensory overwhelm, parenting stress, or major life transitions, I work closely with you to develop personalized strategies that fit your strengths and nervous system needs.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, executive functioning coaching, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches, to help clients build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and foster sustainable emotional regulation.

Therapy with me is active, flexible, and compassionate, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where neurodivergent clients and families feel understood, empowered, and supported in meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and identify immediate areas of support, whether that’s adult ADHD overwhelm, parenting challenges, Autism-related stress, anxiety, depression, or executive functioning difficulties.

Clients can expect to leave with deeper self-understanding, practical coping strategies, and increased confidence managing ADHD symptoms, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and daily stressors.

I regularly use collaborative check-ins and progress tracking to ensure therapy feels helpful, relevant, and aligned with your goals. Together, we prioritize what matters most — from urgent concerns to long-term growth, emotional resilience, and executive functioning skills.

If you’re seeking a compassionate, experienced therapist who truly sees you and works alongside you, I’d be honored to support your journey.
