Great to meet you!

My studies in nursing started at Boston City Hospital School of nursing, continued at Quincy college MA, later at Framingham State College MA and finally at University of Cincinnati for my Masters in Science of Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have obtained a great deal of knowledge and experiences while working in at St Luke’s Behavioral Health Hospital AZ, and SMI clinics.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As human, we all will encounter stress no matter what our beliefs, backgrounds, and religion. Since our response to stress is different, the approach of treatment for mental health symptoms should be different. I agree that treatment cannot be “one-size-fits-all”. I believe in a whole-person-centered treatment based on body, spirit and soul. Based on your past and current symptoms , unique resilience and goals, we can partner in helping you to find relief and healing.

What you can expect from our first session

First of all, a client should expect to be treated with respect, dignity, and feeling safe discussing mental issues. With cooperation and mutual thrust, we can partner in helping you find relief and healing with medication management, and Talk therapy. Other approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and mindfulness can be used as adjunct to medications or as monotherapy to help overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD to live happier and more fulfilling lives.
