Great to meet you!

Hello, it’s great to meet you.

If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who sees you as a whole and unique person, you’re in the right place. I know that seeking mental health support often comes during a challenging time, and I approach each person with care, respect, and genuine attention to their individual story.

With over six years of experience providing person‐centered care and advocacy for individuals with intellectual disabilities and co‐occurring mental health needs, I work collaboratively with clients to create an individualized plan that reflects their goals, strengths, and preferences. My aim is to support you with compassion, clarity, and partnership as you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, person‐centered, and grounded in understanding who you are beyond your symptoms. I take time to learn about your life before things became difficult, including your lifestyle, family background, support system, and personal values or spirituality. This broader context helps me understand how your mental health concerns developed and allows us to create a treatment plan that reflects your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming and supportive space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. You can expect thoughtful listening, empathy, and a genuine interest in your concerns, emotions, and aspirations. Together, we will start building a foundation of trust and collaboration, focusing on what matters most to you and how I can best support you moving forward.
