Great to meet you!

I am a cognitive behavioral psychologist serving clients in New York and Connecticut and licensed for clinical practice in over forty other states through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact. Since opening my private practice in 2019, I have dedicated myself to helping clients dealing with mental health challenges and life stressors. Having a strong foundation in research, I have published work on behavioral genetics and psychiatric epidemiology and have served as a peer reviewer for the journal Psychology and Aging. My academic training at Boston University, known for its world-renowned faculty and for developing and testing cutting-edge psychological interventions, have equipped me with the skills necessary to provide evidence-based care and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

In my New York and Connecticut practices, I employ empirically supported interventions that help clients with many different needs and preferences. I utilize techniques such as the Unified Protocol, Cognitive Processing Therapy (which I am certified for by the VA), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia to help clients achieve sustained symptom relief and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Whether it is your first time seeking help from a psychologist or you are exploring a different therapeutic approach, both decisions require a considerable amount of bravery. At the core of my practice is the belief that a non-judgmental, collaborative, and trusting relationship is essential for meaningful change to occur. I strive to maintain a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their thoughts and feelings. By fostering this therapeutic alliance, I aim to empower clients to explore their challenges and work towards their goals.
