Great to meet you!

No matter how big or small, I believe no one should feel like they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders alone. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in West Virginia, with over 20 years of mental health experience. I am dedicated to helping adults navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief/loss, as well as women's issues. I hold a Masters degree in Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance where clients feel safe and supported. I believe in empowering individuals to identify their strengths and develop healthy coping strategies to navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals. Utilizing Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, while incorporating motivational interviewing (MI) techniques, I am passionate about helping others find a sense of well-being and live a fulfilling life by supporting them every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Making the decision to begin therapy can be a challenge but I am here to say...you can do it! It is my goal for clients to feel empowered to make meaningful changes while experiencing emotional healing. Every day is a new beginning and a new opportunity to do something different and I look forward to beginning that journey with you!
