Great to meet you!

Hello!

Starting therapy is one of the hardest and bravest things a person can do. It takes a lot of time and energy to sift through pain and struggles in life, especially the past.

I have been a therapist for 10 years, and started this journey because I found hope in my own healing.

My own trauma told me the story of being "just too messed up", which is a common story that pain and PTSD tells. Art making and trauma therapy helped me detangle old narratives and reconnect to my true self.

A bit about my approach to therapy

We are a team. Together, we will check out different options and ways to sift through, unpack, and restory your narrative.

I am trained in Expressive Art Therapy, EMDR, and Sensoritmotor, and EcoTherapy, and find that the most significant changes occur when we engage our entire person (mind, body, emotions, spirit). We do active experiential work in therapy, not just talk.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is that you find something supportive in each session. Some examples of this may be a new resource or tool we check out together, a way to engage your body or a creative practice that fits for you, or maybe an insight about your story that you find.
