Great to meet you!

Noel is a skilled psychotherapist creating a safe and welcoming space for clients of all ages (children, teens, adults) to explore their inner world. Utilizing a psychodynamic approach alongside evidence-based techniques like EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, and a strengths perspective, she helps clients uncover the connections between past experiences and present struggles. This personalized approach enables clients to restructure limiting patterns of thinking and behavior, fostering greater self-awareness and control. Noel holds a Masters of Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminology from Coastal Carolina University. Noel will be pursuing her Doctorates in Social Work this upcoming summer. She offers individual, couples, and family counseling.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is deeply personalized and integrative, blending various techniques to best support your journey. I'm trained in a wide array of modalities, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), substance abuse treatment, Reiki energy healing, grief and loss counseling, somatic experiencing, CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care. This comprehensive approach allows me to create a unique and effective treatment plan for each individual and couple I work with.

What you can expect from me

A therapy session with me provides a confidential and supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The specific content and structure will vary depending on the best fitting approach and your individual needs, but generally involves open dialogue and a collaborative relationship with me. You can expect to discuss your concerns, goals, and challenges in a non-judgmental environment. I will offer guidance, support, and strategies to help you gain insights and develop coping mechanisms. Sessions may involve exploring past experiences, identifying patterns of thinking and behavior, setting goals, and practicing new skills. We can laugh, we may cry, and maybe all in the span of one session. The overall aim is to foster self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, and promote positive change in your life.
