Great to meet you!

I am Noel Sherry, a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist specializing in a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, and more. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and received my education at Berkeley City College. With years of experience, I am committed to providing a safe, empathetic space where you can explore and address the issues that matter most. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, working with you to unlock your potential and achieve lasting change. Together, we will work through your struggles, uncovering healthier ways to manage life's complexities while building on your personal strengths and resilience. Whether you're facing trauma, family difficulties, relationship struggles, or mental health challenges like ADHD or sleep disorders, I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strength-Based Therapy to ensure you feel supported and understood. I deeply value the importance of mental health and am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My process begins with a comprehensive assessment where we take the time to discuss your unique history, challenges, and goals. Through this collaborative conversation, we’ll identify your primary areas of concern, whether it be anxiety, trauma, or relationship difficulties. From there, I customize our approach using effective modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strength-Based Therapy, focusing on empowering you to make positive changes. As therapy progresses, we’ll continuously evaluate your progress and adjust the approach to best meet your evolving needs. My aim is to create a nurturing space where you feel comfortable to explore your emotions, tackle difficult issues, and work toward greater mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

When you choose to work with me, you’re not just getting a therapist – you’re gaining a partner in your mental health journey. I believe in creating a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. Whether you’re grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship struggles, my goal is to offer a holistic approach tailored to your needs. We’ll focus not only on the challenges you face, but also on your strengths and resources, empowering you to take charge of your healing. I provide a compassionate environment where you will feel respected and valued as we work toward tangible progress and transformation.
