Great to meet you!

I believe mental health care is most effective when it feels collaborative, compassionate, and personalized to each individual. I take the time to truly understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels supportive, realistic, and tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

My style combines evidence-based medication management with a holistic understanding of emotional wellness, recognizing the important role that stress, relationships, sleep, physical health, past experiences, and daily life challenges can have on mental health. I value open communication and shared decision-making, and I encourage questions so you feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in your care.

Above all, I strive to provide a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to help you feel empowered while working together toward meaningful, lasting improvement and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized to each individual. I believe the best outcomes happen when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment journey. I take time to understand your unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals so we can create a treatment plan together that feels supportive, realistic, and tailored to your needs.

I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches and thoughtful medication management when appropriate, while also recognizing the important role that stress, sleep, physical health, relationships, work or school demands, and life transitions can have on emotional well-being. Mental health is never one-dimensional, and I believe care should reflect the whole person.

I value open communication, shared decision-making, and ongoing collaboration throughout treatment. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and building confidence in their care.

Above all, I strive to help clients feel empowered, informed, and supported as we work together toward meaningful, lasting improvements in mental wellness and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your current concerns, relevant medical and mental health history, and what you’re hoping to gain from care. There is no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to discuss.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and how they’re affecting your daily life. Together, we’ll begin to identify goals and discuss treatment options, which may include medication, lifestyle considerations, and coordination with therapy or other supports if appropriate.

By the end of the visit, you should have a clearer understanding of next steps and feel supported, informed, and involved in your care plan.
