Great to meet you!

I'm a California-based therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families over telehealth. My practice is built on one core belief: you are the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you access what you already have inside you. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, family conflict, LGBTQIA+ affirmation, grief, and life transitions — and I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, and Humanistic principles — choosing what fits your situation rather than what fits a textbook. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I ask good questions, I listen more than I talk, and I help you build concrete skills between sessions — not just insight in the room. For couples and families, I focus on communication patterns and the systemic dynamics that keep cycles stuck.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is structured but relaxed. We'll start with a Family Map — a visual history tool that helps me understand your background, relationships, and patterns quickly, so we can get to work sooner. I'll also do a brief check-in around mood, anxiety, and safety so I can tailor my approach from the very first session. Depending on what comes up, we may use the remaining time to learn a practical communication skill together, or simply create space for you to be heard — without any agenda other than your relief and clarity.
