Great to meet you!

I have dedicated my professional life in providing support to individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments. My clinical background extends in work in early intervention, NICU and postpartum inpatient units, inpatient pediatric rehabilitation, in home child and adolescent services, and therapy in private practice. I specialize in the areas of perinatal and post-partum mental health, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, and trauma.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of clinical experience with the ability to service clients in New York and New Jersey. I obtained my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work and have completed a Post-Master's certification in Infant and Preschool Mental Health from Montclair State University.

My approach to therapy

I provide an eclectic and individualized approach in guiding clients to actively engage in their goals with a lens of more self-compassion. Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic Therapy are some approaches I utilize in my practice with a trauma-informed approach. As a native Spanish speaker and first generation immigrant, I also provide bilingual and bi-cultural clinical services.

What you can expect from me

I can provide support in identifying and understanding the WHY to therapy and what is bringing discomfort at this time. I will assist in exploration and identification of your individual needs as well as patterns. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space by empowering you in fostering resilience and improving your life and emotional well being.
