I have helped clients experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and other mental health illnesses to improve their functioning and quality of life. The clients learn different ways to recognize their own distortions in thinking that are causing problems and then reevaluate these thoughts in the light of reality. Clients have the ability gain a better insight of behavior and motivation of others. They are encouraged to identify and develop coping mechanisms to cope with their symptoms.
We will collaborate to develop goals and objectives for treatment. This will allow me develop an effective treatment plan for us to work through in each session. Clients can gain insight in improving mental health by addressing feelings and trauma, developing coping skills, and changing behaviors as well improving their communication skills.
