I am an English & Spanish speaking therapist. I believe that life can sometimes turn difficult and painful, and at these times, reaching out for help can be reassuring and powerful. If you are feeling depressed, distressed, or anxious I can help. Together you and I will sift through the layers, untangle the thicket, and emerge more certain and clear. As we understand you better, we can use that knowledge to carve out a new path for you, one that offers greater ease and contentment.

I believe that individuals are experts of their own life experiences and I encourage clients to take an active role in their healing journey. I specialize in working with issues related to depression, sexual abuse & trauma, immigration evaluations, correctional counseling-restoration of prior offenders, as well as life transitions and acculturation issues.

Having grown up in a multicultural environment with a Hispanic and Middle Eastern family, I know the importance of processing issues related to acculturation, problems of adjustments to a new culture, and the emotional rollercoaster of experiencing cultural shock. Change is possible and I invite you to take your first steps in your healing journey.
