Great to meet you!

I have experience with diverse populations and focus on providing a holistic outlook no matter who I am working with. I believe in the connection between our mind, brain, body, and spirit and incorporate this into therapeutic sessions, so clients can integrate all parts of themselves on their healing journey. I have a background of owning a business for 12 years, while doing so going back to school to fulfill a life dream of becoming a therapist.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe the past is in the present and shows up for us somatically, emotionally, and in our internal belief systems. I use EMDR interventions when clients want to take a deeper look at past experiences that continue to show up in the present. While I do much trauma work, I also expand the definition of trauma to experiences of disconnection and needs not being met. Therefore, clients can take an in depth look at what they are wanting to work on and how symptoms are showing up in their life.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is clients walk away from sessions with a more profound understanding of themselves and how their recent and past experiences shape who they are but do not define who they are. Hopefully, with time clients are able to integrate all the parts of themselves and live expressing their authentic self and voice.
