Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in San Pedro, CA with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, teens, and older adults through some of life's hardest moments. I earned my degree from San Francisco State University. I hold a Certificate in Somatic Therapy for Trauma and Internal Family Systems from The Embody Lab. I'm trained in a variety of other treatment modalities. I work with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, PTSD, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, addiction, substance use, and family conflict. I also have specialized experience supporting people who stutter — a population that is often misunderstood and deserves a therapist who truly gets it. I provide affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ individuals and anyone ready to do the work of healing in a safe, judgment-free space.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in somatic therapy, helping you tune into what your body knows, while I also draw on CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and trauma-focused approaches to meet your unique needs. I bring both clinical training and the wisdom of lived experience to every session, so you feel genuinely understood. A typical treatment plan focuses on building resilience, setting healthy boundaries, and developing real coping strategies — because therapy doesn't have to take years to show results.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about you feeling safe and heard. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you've tried before, and what you most want from therapy. I'll share how I work and together we'll start mapping a path forward. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a feel for the fit before committing.
