Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey with over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I earned my Master's and Ed.M. degrees in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and have worked in private practice, crisis intervention, substance use treatment, and community mental health settings.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, marriage, family & relationship challenges, life transitions, substance use disorders, grief, ADHD, and neurodivergence. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe that insight is important, but lasting change occurs when insight is paired with action. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.

I work with clients to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, strengthen emotional regulation skills, improve relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. I tailor treatment to each individual, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.

Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and respect, where clients feel safe exploring both their struggles and strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.

Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and tailored to your needs. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process, so you can expect an open conversation where you feel heard, understood, and respected.

Most clients leave the first session with greater clarity about their concerns, a better understanding of where to begin, and a sense of hope that positive change is possible.
