Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and nonjudgmental Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s mental health challenges with understanding, respect, and support. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, sleep concerns, stress, grief, and life transitions.

My clients come from all walks of life. You may be a working mother trying to balance your career, family, and your own mental health; a student struggling to stay focused and keep up academically; an inattentive or overwhelmed teenager having difficulty at home or school; a college student adjusting to independence and new expectations; a parent navigating divorce or co-parenting; or someone trying to heal from grief, heartbreak, relationship changes, or an unexpected transition in life.

You do not have to have everything figured out before seeking help. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and receive care without fear of judgment. I combine evidence-based psychiatric treatment with individualized care because your experiences, needs, and goals are uniquely yours.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, patient-centered, and individualized. I take time to understand not only your symptoms, but also what is happening in your everyday life. Work, school, relationships, family responsibilities, loss, major transitions, and other stressors can all affect how we feel and function.

Together, we will identify your concerns, establish realistic goals, and develop a treatment plan that fits your needs. When medication is appropriate, I will explain your options, answer your questions, and involve you in decisions about your care. My goal is to help you better understand your mental health while working toward improved stability, functioning, confidence, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you as a person, not simply assigning a diagnosis. We will talk about what brought you in, what you have been experiencing, your mental health and medical history, medications, relationships, school or work, current stressors, and what you would like to see change.

Whether you are coming in because you cannot focus, feel constantly overwhelmed, are struggling with your mood, are having difficulty adjusting to a major life change, or simply know that you have not been feeling like yourself, you will have an opportunity to tell your story without judgment.

We will discuss my clinical impressions and create a clear plan together. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.
