Great to meet you!

First things first: I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to understand you.

I value honesty, curiosity, and real conversations- the kind where nothing is off-limits and you don’t have to edit yourself to be acceptable. I care deeply about social justice and about the practical realities of everyday life, especially if you’ve spent years feeling like you don’t quite fit the mold everyone else seems to slide into so easily.

I take a holistic view of mental health. Who you are is shaped by your biology, your experiences, your relationships, and the systems you’ve had to navigate- and all of that matters in therapy. I’ll never claim to be the expert on your life (that role belongs to you), but I will walk alongside you as a guide- helping you explore, understand, and accept all the parts of yourself without judgment.

If you’re neurodivergent, questioning, late-diagnosed, or have always felt “different” without knowing why, you’re very much in the right place. At Solaris Counseling Services, authenticity isn’t just encouraged- it’s the whole point.

My approach to therapy

My approach is flexible, collaborative, and grounded in real life- not just theory.

I use a holistic framework that pulls from multiple therapeutic tools and strategies, choosing what actually fits you, your nervous system, and your lived experience. Many of the tools I use are ones I’ve personally explored or witnessed in action, so I can explain how they feel, not just how they’re supposed to work on paper.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and couples, including ADHD and AuDHD (diagnosed or not), as well as people who’ve always sensed they were wired differently. Together, we look beyond surface-level symptoms to uncover patterns, root causes, and relational dynamics- then build strategies that support the way your brain actually works.

Therapy with me isn’t about masking better or forcing yourself into someone else’s version of “normal.” It’s about reducing overwhelm, strengthening communication, and helping you become more at ease with who you already are.

What you can expect from me

Think of the first session as a landing- not a performance.

We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you in, what’s been feeling off, and what you’re hoping might change. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words, a diagnosis, or a perfectly organized story. You can show up exactly as you are- confused, tired, curious, guarded, hopeful, or all of the above.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and help you begin connecting dots- especially ones that may have been overlooked or misunderstood in the past. By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a little more self-understanding, and the reassurance that they don’t have to navigate this alone.

You’ve already taken the hardest step by starting. From here on out, we walk together- at your pace, in your way, toward a version of life that feels more grounded, more authentic, and more yours.
